Meet Sue

Hello Friend! It’s great to see you!

This is a kitchen table kind of place. The soup’s on and warm bread is baking in the oven.  No need to rush through the meal, there’s always time for you here – to be listened to and loved well.

Please don’t mind the mess. I’m a mama to three sweeties, a married lady, and mentor to many.  My heart beats strong to build intentional community, around tables like this one, where we can all feel welcomed, and to know that we belong.

You see, a long time ago community knocked on my door. I chose to answer and invite her in for tea, and I have never been the same since.

There was this small mountain village in the heart of Ethiopia – where smiles and generosity was abundant.  I learned how poor I was.

Later, it was a farming community in New Hampshire –  hurting and addicted young adults were bathed in grace.  I was humbled by how broken I was.

Now, it’s a weekly gathering of friends willing to share the roses & thorns of life together. I’m learning how dependent I am.

Will you join me around the table?  There’s a seat for you here.

You’ll be glad that you did!

~ Sue

  1. Hi Sue! My name is Julie Mac Gregor. My husband Todd and I helped out with youth at Redeemer a few years ago, and I’m not sure that we got to know each other at all, but I saw your husbands post on Facebook the other day, and I wanted to take this time to encourage you in your God- given endeavours. To few women are being discipled these days, and I am passionate about this also, though maybe not with your confidence and courage! I am thankful for your step in this direction, and whole heartedly am thankful for what God is doing in and through you. Your resources are solid, and your blogs are truly inspirational. Thank you for being you! I look forward to having coffee with you one day 😊. Keep going and be ever faithful to your call.

    1. Thanks for your kind encouragement, Julie! A joy to hear from you and to know you share the same passion for discipleship. Yes, a coffee with you would be wonderful 🙂 Richest Blessings, Sue
